little bit of modeling, a little bit of food, and a whole lot of dance!!!

"mommy.....i sweated!" THAT is what i woke up 2 today. Skye has come up with a BRILLIANT plan to call pee, sweat! she thinks she is going to convience me of this matter and actually argued with me for a good 10 min that it was sweat and not pee so there was no need to take off her brand new favorite jammies. after 10 min i of course won and the jammies were off to the washer along with my bed covers. WHY my bed covers you ask??? well skye also came into bed this morning around 3:00am. i took her to the bathroom and was getting ready to make her a little spot on the floor when i turned around and she had climbed into my bed. I DID NOT HAVE THE HEART TO KICK HER OUT....who would? so that all leads us to the pee (sweat), the washer and now Nathan complaining about having to make the bed. i don't know about you but i feel really bad for him!!!! HA HA.

HA HA yep that was our day. we watched tv, played and waited for Nathan to come home. Oh and i thought up of what i was going to make for dinner. When 3:30 rolled around i told nathan to pick up some hot dogs form walmart and get some tato wedges from good ole kfc. while he was doing that i got everything else ready and started to make...mac and cheese, and pigs in a blanket. in the middle of the cooking skye and i decided to dance to some music i had put on. i hate to cook and music gives me a little pic me up while doing the job...lol

Not too much longer Nathen was home with the hot dogs and they were quickly wrapped and put in the oven........12 min later tada

more modeling for shadow dragon dreams...and SUPER fun shopping!

Today started off like most Sundays do. Nathan got up early to go work for Mike and skye and I hung out at home! Was SUPER EXCITED when nathan called me at 1:00 to tell me he was coming home!!!!! We decided we were going to go to the outlet mall and check out some shoes for nathan and just overall look around for good deals. before we took off i did some quick pics of skye in a custom made outfit made by shadow dragon dreams http://shadowdragondreams.blogspot.com/2010/09/new-listings-and-sneak-peek.html. 

Right after we were done we went to the mall! we stopped by adidas and Nathan found a pair of shoes for 39.99. Not a bad price but we got a nice surprise when we were only asked for 18 something. the lady goes oh yea you get an additional 50 percent off......SCORE! After that we went to lids. let me say that Nathan does not NEED any more hats but we just happened to leave with 2 and a year membership???? COME ON!!! Around this time skye was a bit hyped up and acting like a fool but we got her a drink, had a little rest and then trudged on. WE found 2 pairs of jammies for her at carters. one was only like 5 bucks and the other ballerina was 10....so 15 bucks?...not bad if you ask me. The other great deal i found was at the children's place. i got a whole outfit, under shirt, ADORABLE top shirt, pants and a SUPER DUPER CUTE hat for only 30 something. I did not take pics of all of these yet but i will try and get them posted as soon as i can! 

Our plan for dinner was to use Nathan stockade gift card...but umm he forgot it...lol. so instead we picked up some spaghetti from fazoli's and headed home. I edited the pics as i ate, and now here i am:)

hope everyone had a great holiday weekend...im off to go watch some movies(the last song) and read skye some bed time stories!

homemade lasagna and crumbly cookie cake......oh what fun!!!

Welp today has been a good one i do have to say!!!! i woke up late..but that was all ok considering skye was at her grandma and grandpas. i decided i needed to clean bc the cleaning fairy forgot to come to my house AGAIN this week!!!!! i know TOTALLY sucks. so anyways after some cleaning my baby girl was home...YAY!!! she was asleep and man we can not have that!!!!! this child can not even take a 5 min nap or she is up 2 hours past her bead time...and no i wish i was joking! Bentley was super excited to see her anyways, and man there was no denying that dog of what he wanted!!! grandma and grandpa stayed and chatted for a little bit and then it was off to the store for us!!!! we were in search of a cheer outfit for skyelars dance class next week. they thought it would be fun to have the girls dress up every once in a while and i have to say i agree!!!! target it was, bc lets face it target ROCKS my socks:). there was no luck on the cheer front but i did find some great deals while i was there!!!!!

              ok so i am in LOVE with Lanvender and they were only $2.50 a piece....I KNOW SUPER             EXCITED!                                  

 Skye needed a new "tutu" and it was only $7.00!!

So after some target fun we decided to check at wally world. they had a colts one but it was blue and well we of course want.......PINK...DUH...LOL. it was not a total loss though bc while i was there i got some groceries! as i was looking through all of the YUMMY food i decided that i wanted to make lasagna. I am not a great cook let me just start off at that, and for me to cook let alone want to is a miracle!!!!! so since i was being all "Betty Crocker" i decided to also get some things to make cookies! NOPE that was not all i got at the store but it just so happens to be the most important to this story so that is all i am giving you:).

I got home, put up all of the groceries, and then i was off to work. here is the recipe and the pics to go along!

Lasana

in skillet brown 1.5 lb hamburger

.5 sausage

so i suck and only had one of each so just used the whole pound of sausage.........SUE ME!!!

drain grease and add

3-6oz tomato paste

3 cans water, or one big and one little like i did!

ha ha that is my water...in case you could not tell!!!

1t.salt

1t pepper

I protest pepper so i did not add it but please do if you MUST!!!

2 garlic cloves-or 1t garlic powder(yes this one)

Let simmer 1/2 to an hour

Cook lasagna noodles in boiling salt water

after noodles are cooked drain out the water and place them in cold water so they don't stick

who am i kidding they always stick.....lol told ya cooking is not my thing!

STOP to take a pic of your adorable little one watching on the sidelines!

in large glass or foil type throw away thing (ha you know you like my analogy) layer

lasagna noodles

 

sauce

cottage cheese

mozzarella cheese

and repeat...but i just leave it at that!

you can add parmesan cheese to the top but i suck and forgot...drats!

Bake for 20-30 min at 350

and ENJOY!

Make sure to turn off all the lights and light some candles! Skye thought it was AWESOME! and we listened to music....HOW ROMANTIC...he he

i am soo glad you asked!!!!!! cookie cake it is and in angie and heather style at that.....I KNOW.....AWESOME RIGHT? i knew you would think so:).

well you start off with a pan and spraying it.

and what do you spray it with?...why pam of course or great value butter flavor like i have....tee hee

now you need the cookie part, and well if i do say so myself i think i did enough homemade for the day so store bought it was! (i know i am dissapointed in myself 2...ha NOT!)

Now for the fun part! tear of in block and place it all over the place...and yep they can be touching:)

now to do it the heather and angie way...just squish it all together to make a square and you are all set to put in the oven.

set oven to 350 and pop that bad dad in for about 15 min(or less if it starts to burn...ha)

if all goes well it will turn out good and yummy!

UNLESS..........you are me and think it is a great idea to try and flip it onto a cooling rack before its time....lol...this is so me people...go ahead and laugh!

I have to say though it was still good:)

modeling fun for shadow dragon dreams

ok well today was kinda a bummer:(. we were invited to go hang out and have game day at my husbands aunts house today but we had to cancel due to the fact that skye and i are still sick(better then before), but we did not want to get anyone else sick. WOW that was like a super run on sentence...lol.  so we just hung around the house until we finally decide at like 12:30 to get our butts up and motivated. Nathan had to play ball so it was just skye and I. we took a shower and after i was cleaning out my ears. skye of course wanted me to do the same so i did. well as i looked into her ears they were FILLED with wax. if you know anything about my daughter you will know that she has always had problems with her ears and got tubes when she was little over a year. anyways the q-tip was not doing jack..as it never does  so i pulled out the tweezers since the wax was right there and close. before you say anything..... NO I DID NOT HURT MY CHILD THE WAX WAS RIGHT THERE JUST NOT WHERE I COULD REACH WITH MY FINGERS. we played a little game where there was a frog in skyelar's ear and i was going to get it out...lol. she would say mommy get the frog out.....Froggy come to my mommy...lol. i got the frogs out real easy and man where they big ones!!!!! also her tubes have been almost out for a year now...and when the frogs got out they must have eaten them bc (there hidden in the ball of nastyness was her tubes!)   now all i can hope for is to not have to repeat myself every second bc HEY the blockage is gone!!!!

 Not too long after her grandma and grandpa came to pick her up for the night...and she got to take her bike!!!!! SHE WAS SUPER EXCITED! so now after editing pics and writing the blog i am going to take a pesky breathing treatment and then i guess i am off to my sisters! hope everyone had a great day and has a wonderful night!
