well we lost our dog yesterday. we pretty much had to pay 200 dollars to have someone kill our dog we loved and now miss. he had a blockage in his stomach from eating things he was not supposed to and we could not pay the 1600 to 1800 to fix him. further more no one (vet) is willing to work with you. i mean NO ONE!. I get the fact that they have to protect themselves but gosh if your dog is sick and you don't have the money to fix them then sorry you have to kill them??? TOTALLY sucks!!!! also when you take your dog in for an obvious sickness you would expect them to note that. instead they do this physical as if he is totally fine and write down that he is a little under weight, depressed, and acting abnormal. well hell who wouldn't be if they were in his situation??? i mean instead of understanding it felt like the finger was being pointed at us with a (horrible owners) attached to it. it is very hard to deal with. Milo was such a sweet dog and a friend to all of us. he loved to cuddle with me...play with Skye...and obsess over Nathan:). defiantly going to miss the kisses ,golden hugs, and just overall greatness of him. we went to my sisters house last night (they made us dinner) and when we came home there was nothing waiting for us. no wagging tail or whine in excitement....NOTHING. the house seems very quiet(even with Skye running around and playing begging for a pop tart) and well just down right depressing. all i wanted to do today was go to a pet store and play with all the little puppies. not that they are going to replace him but something about animals in general (dogs) for me just make things a little easier. so heres to remembering milo...we will miss him.
ps. to those of you that think it is stupid and ridiculous to be this upset over a dog...and talk about them as if they were nothing more then just a mere possession. GET A LIFE and have the balls and compassion to care about something other then yourself. just wondering how a living breathing thing that gives you its all is laughable when lost. SERIOUSLY grow up!!!
